Organizations
The Friends of Pompeys Pillar have elected officers and members of the board of directors for 2015. The officers are Henry Deming, president; Mike Lamphier, vice-president, and Susan Barrow, secretary/treasurer. Members of the board include Jerry Michels, Jim Nichols, Mark Pagano, Jodi Kinn, Joyce Jensen and Clint Valandra. Ex-officio members of the board are Bill Kennedy, Yellowstone County commissioner, Jeff Kitchens, Pompeys Pillar National Monument manager and Jonathan Peart, executive director of the Friends of Pompeys Pillar.

Shandray Zigweid of Billings is on the fall 2014 deans list at Northern State University in Aberdeen, S.D.
Local students are on the fall semester 2014 honor roll at Montana State University-Bozeman. Students with a perfect 4.0 grade point average for the semester were named to the Presidents Honor Roll, and an asterisk follows each name of these students. The Deans Honor Roll includes students earning grade point averages of 3.5 or above for the semester.
